Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved in Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. Her siblings include two younger ones and an older brother. The first time she was in the entertainment industry came as she was modeling from ages nine to sixteen. She started her acting training at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting together in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the identical training that was given to Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Following her move to Los Angeles, she got her first part in the Beverly Hills 90210. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts, establishing her as a sexy actress. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to get a regular part on Friends.
